We're on a mission to help children thrive by inspiring them to discover what makes them each uniquely wonderful.
What is the Milo Way?
Behind every great name is a story. And ours was inspired by Milo, a fun-loving and very unique sea star. While other sea creatures were crawling and swimming, Milo was cartwheeling. Preferring to spin and zoom across the coral reef, Milo's greatest joy was also his special talent.
Until one day, he loses his ability to cartwheel and discovers just how important his unique gift is to his happiness and sense of self. When he later meets magical creatures who support him in learning to fly, he realizes something very important. He doesn't need to fly their way; he needs to fly his way- the Milo way!
Our approach
We use creative journaling, storytelling, and mindful practices to create safe spaces where children can explore what truly brings them joy, process difficult emotions, and experiment with different forms of self-expression. Through these experiences, they discover and document their unique perspectives, recognizing patterns in what makes them feel most authentic.
What we believe
We believe every child has something special inside them that makes them shine - a unique talent, passion, or way of being that can sustain them and bring them joy through life's storms.
Through Milo's journey, children learn that their differences aren't obstacles to overcome, but gifts to celebrate.
