Anyone on the road to building theirs or their child's resilience knows there's no shortcuts. It takes time. Lots and lots of time. So, I suppose this is the bad news in a world where we five-minute rice is no longer acceptable, and having to wait for the next episode of a show on HBO feels like torture. But the good news is help is on the way and may in fact already be here. Cue gasps and thunderous applause. Too much? Ok, maybe a little.
But, I'm excited and if you've read previous blogs you may know that I've started making videos to teach resilience. A little at a time, I'll be covering things like meditation, self-compassion, cultivating empathy, developing a gratitude practice, building a comfort kit, journaling and a host of other things I'm probably forgetting. And what better way to do this than through videos? Well, I can think of another way, and that is through an online course, which is also in progress. One step at a time, eh?
If you or anyone one you know (big or small) are looking to learn resilience, please join me in my Youtube Channel. All of the lessons I'll be covering are ones Milo learns throughout the books, but are for both little and big humans. So, I suppose you can think of them as one size fits all :) If you have suggestions or would like to reach out to me personally with questions please feel free to email me or you can always comment directly within the channel itself. To make life simple, I'm including the latest video for you.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
